As always we encourage you to submit any problems or questions to the following:
FIRST THING TO DO IS GO TO SETTINGS IN PRINT MAGIC AND CALIBRATE / TEST PRINT THE APP TO YOUR PRINTER.
1. In settings you should see your printer with two options (IPP & PDL)
2. Tap the “>” to test print on both choices (IPP, then PDL) which will allow you two test prints per protocol.
That is our "print wizard" which sends out test signals to auto configure as many printers communicate in multiple languages. There are 2 test prints per printer list (IPP, PDL,). Once your receive a test success page with a three digit code, tap that on your screen and your app is now configured.
4. You can try entering your printer's IP address in settings and try test printing.
You can find your printer's IP address by sending a print test page direct from your printer.
HP PRINTERS ONLY:
Tap "HP APDK" in settings of Print Magic and you are ready to print. You do not need to test print.
